Formal Italianate influences are reflected in this garden - linear pathways run either side of a lush lawn, lined with clipped standard bay lollipops, leading to a garden seat set amongst box-lined parterres of Lavandula and Verbena bonariensis. At the end of the garden lies a second entertaining space with raised bed plantings of giant white Allium, Sarcococca and Perovskia. Mature pleached beech provides valuable screening along the soft grey rendered wall.

In May 2008, following professional recommendation, we commissioned Fiona to create a garden design and planting scheme. Fiona's meticulous eye, her careful interpretation of our ideas, and her great knowledge of plants and their environments resulted in a glorious, peaceful garden for all seasons. Recently, we called on Fiona's expertise to refresh the garden with additional planting whilst remaining faithful to the original, thus the garden continues to develop and grow and bring us great pleasure.
